Vertical laminar flow clean bench is a laminar flow work cabinet or similar enclosure that provides filtered air across the work surface to protect against contamination.

Overview
Simply put, all air within the table envelope flows in a single direction with no backwash, which is usually an area of turbulent airflow created by obstacles, equipment or movement within the cleaning table enclosure. Proper housing design helps to prevent backwashing and ensures that vertical laminar flow continues to protect the work of the cleaning bench surface.
